For the very first time in the history of Europe, everybody can ”dive underwater” in the sea and discover the natural, marine life. This is possible because of the Oresound Foundation and its installed web camera in Oresound, between Sweden and Denmark. This place, just outside Helsingborg city, is very well choosen, since there are no significant disturbances from motorboats and divers. The marine situation of Oresound is unique and the system consists of two water layers from greater sea systems, The Baltic Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. The difference in salinity between the two water systems, explains the situation.

One can, by this web camera, follow the marine life at a depth of 4 metres and have a look at a marine place, which has hardly been seen by anyone, ever before. Due to the camera we can increase our knowledge about the marine life. Once a minute the photo changes and shows the view a diver would meet.  The Oresound Foundation is hoping to improve the camera system and to increase the activity.
